My cat is such a diva he sits on the counters waiting for someone to turn the sink on even though we spent THIRTY DOLLARS on a water fountain for him, that he never uses.

Unsure how I'm supposed to write this, but Diva is no longer with us. We had to put her to sleep today. She's gone. She was 17 and a half.
I will write a proper remeberance for her at some point, but I can't at the moment. If you don't see me around much I'm fine, I'm just sad.
Hi, I'm Dior 👋🏻
A little story about how I think my cat is being a diva
I have three cats. About one week ago my partner gave them all some of their fried chicken. One of the cats threw up the days after, but she ate well.
I came back home after spending the holidays with my family and my partner left to go on a vacation. At this time the cat in question had eaten and not thrown up for two days.
I tried to feed them all four times since then and she refused to eat. I offered her favourite snack and she ate a little. Now I really got desperate so I sat down with her away from the other cats and we went through the whole snack box. She devoured the dried duck and a liquid snack.
Now my theory is this: Yes, the fried chicken made her sick, but it also opened her eyes to way tastier foods. My partner is her favourite human, so she accepted whatever they gave her. Sadly, she isn't that nice to me, so I am now cooking chicken for her...
Edit: She is definitely not constipated. Tested that theory.
This iconic diva of a cat is a Scorpio🤭

When we first got Minouche, it was required that after six months a care worker visit to make sure she was healthy. We weren’t allowed to adopt her - technically - until after the visit. When the woman arrived, Minouche rapidly developed an obvious limp. The woman was concerned and insisted we take Minouche to the vet and send the results to her before we could finalize the adoption. We looked even more idiotic when she demanded to know how long the limp had been going on and I sheepishly said it was only a recent issue. Of course, as soon as the woman left, Minouche stopped limping, but she still had to go the vet where she was diagnosed with Being A Bitch.
A month ago, Minouche had a growth that could have been cancerous, and it required minor surgery. Luckily, it wasn’t cancerous, and the operation was a breeze, but Minouche was not happy. She hates going to the vet, it petrifies her, and she becomes difficult to work with. The vets hate having her, she’s like a rabid beast, and so they try to make her time with them short and sweet.
Today, after two stressful days because Minouche has been peeing blood and her urine indicated kidney disease, I found out what’s wrong with her. Nothing! There is nothing wrong with her. Their best guess is that the visit to the vet a month ago was stressful, so she faked having kidney disease.
Their official diagnosis is that she’s fat and stressed.
