“Sssss,” What a noise to make when you’re in pain. Her head lowers, face is covered by the amount of hair she has. She’s DOING everything in her power to not scream in agony. THIS is what she gets for reading AND walking. Shit like this happens. You hit your toe on a metal pole, and if you’re not wearing appropriate shoes, your toe is going to hurt. “mmmm, I’m okay. This is fine.” She whispers.
How can a person be a bomb ass bitch at work, but then be a complete clumsy mess out of it. The book is on the ground and she’s knelt to at least inspect her throbbing toe.
The embarrassing thing? THE MOST embarrassing thing right now? She’s avoiding eye contact with a witness. Shit.

"No, we aren't. We just stick it in our bodies."
“Ah....” She remembers during one of her experimenting days, there had been a child who was being tested on. A human. She remembers how that child human, at the time, not much younger than the albino, had what looked like blades as hands. “Is that to make them weapons?” Yes. She knew that damn well, she doesn’t know why she’d ask him. IF they used her to become a weapon, then those poor humans.....they were weapons, too.
dividaetimpera replied to your post: gunheaded: “… wait a minute.” “dave.” “Huh?”
*whispers intently* INTEL
Kovacs I will shove you into the Metal Gear.

(they can kill yakuza together. that's a reason, and they both hate 'em.)
// ahh dkkd it’s not that he was indiscriminately killing yakuza’s either - he was working with one group in order to win over another group of people (who were not yakuzas but this was for skintreasuremap hunt lol)
but uh if something’s after his head its another thing i think?? he’s really quick to kill in self-defense so in a situation like that maybe
Fluorite: Are they able to concentrate easily no matter where they are, or do they need a quiet space with little distracts?
When you spend the better part of a millennium alone, it becomes easy to tune out unnecessary things and multitask different thought processes.
Mokou can honestly concentrate easily no matter the situation. She hadn’t been in a situation where she was easily distracted for a long time and probably won’t start soon.
回 = patching a wound
He can't quite--remember what the sequence of events were that brought him here. There was--he was stabbed, he knows that much, by a feeble sword not much longer than a toothpick, and he'd been sure he would heal up--but this city did not stock estus, and he was bleeding, and actually he was bleeding quite a lot...
Gundyr grunts, sucks a sharp breath in through his teeth at sudden pressure on the wound. The rest was just a blur. Thankfully the person he had come to knew enough first aid to stitch up the gash. Although--who had he come to? He'd only been here a few short days, but this wasn't a face he'd seen in the streets. A terribly strange stranger.
"Where did you learn to...?" The champion trails off, gestures at the in-progress first aid. At least he's lucid enough now to make small talk.
♡ + darkness.
considering his relationship with the flame, and how his inaction caused it to burn out and fade to nothing during his time in the graves, his feelings towards darkness are... wary, at best. that was why he filled his arena with rings of candles--some little flickering fire to keep him company and help him forget the omnipresent dark.
even here, so far from a world where the fire can wax and wane, where the sun rises and sets each day like clockwork, he finds that he hates the dark. at the moment, in his hut, he keeps a very large candle lit at his bedside; when he eventually learns how electricity works, he'll invest in some twinkling nightlight.
