Rejection vs Protection Sometimes we believe we are experiencing rejection when we are actually experiencing protection. I’ve been stood up a few times by friends and prospective lovers (I know! Unbelievable right?? 😄) and there is not much that pisses me off more than having my time wasted. However, almost every time Spirit is protecting this time for themselves, or me from someone who I don’t need to give my time to. This is the perfect opportunity for Spirit to get me in a neutral space where they can reveal to me a message or some additional wisdom when I am in a vulnerable state and very much in need of their reassurance. Fortunately for all of us, this means that I can move pretty swiftly from being pissed off to being grateful that I am experiencing love on an even deeper level than I had anticipated. Sometimes it takes this to get my attention, because I have not been responding to the quiet voice of Spirit. My students who are just starting out on their journey of intuition and channelling always say that they want to feel spirit. Most of us lose this connection to the oneness early in our lives for one reason or another. Feeling itself is what I recommend as a starting point. The armour we build up as a result of our life experience and conditioning is a barrier to feeling our bodies, and by extension, our subtle body which is the medium through which the world of Spirit is able to make itself known to us.
