receiving solstice downloads/ mercury galactic center ~12/25th - 26th new moon/solar eclipse in capricorn
on 12/21 the energy of solstice was unleashed upon us - and it has begun its work of inundating us with the energy of the dark winter goddess - that which reflects, revels, and reveals, allowing us to release what is holding us down - what could get in our way as we work into the dark heart of winter. the sun has reached the lowest point of the ecliptic, and now, slowly, will begin to rise back towards us - a light at the end of the tunnel.
the passage before us is intense - the road is foggy and fraught with uncontrolled factors, our own worst enemies are one with our own reflections, and this is becoming especially clear these days. some of us will experience a growing sense of anxiety surrounding what changes are needed - others will have to deal with karmic consequences that have been sewed passively - through the choices we did not make and boundaries we did not erect.
the energy of Saturn is rife these days - even while the solar eclipse is tied up with Jupiter, we see that Jupiter is in Capricorn, Saturn’s sign, the place of his detriment.
Once again - expansion through contraction.
For those of us who celebrate Christmas or another holiday on this day in its stead - this year will feel odd. There is a potency to the air, and the cutting edge of saturn seems to strike and overwhelm without warning.
When a solar eclipse occurs, the luminaries (the sun & moon, the lights of our sphere) join on the same degree, causing the duality within us - the sun/moon - masculine/feminine - light/dark - to be shaken up & rebalanced.
this can cause tension in our relationships- and our close connections will mirror to us what we must change respectively.
there will be moments of reckoning, corners turned, new balances struck. we will be faced with an opportunity for new levels of awareness - but one that can be easily overlooked if we get caught up in melancholy and self victimization. it is eclipse season. and with the axis of cancer-capricorn (emotional magnetism vs. personal influence / home & comfort vs. aspiration & discipline) lit up by a series of eclipses -we are having our own patterns and roadblocks laid out. ignoring the signs given now can reap grievous consequences.
With mercury moving into conjunction with the galactic center at 27° sagittarius throughout the next few days- our minds are receiving an influx of downloads. Our personal paradigms are shifting & evolving, often without warning, and are shaking up old traditions and long held beliefs quite effectively.
this is a period in which profound & sudden change can be effected almost instantaneously- and taking advantage of this energy to plant a few well-directed seeds of intention can benefit you for the year to come and beyond. our actions matter now.
with jupiter in capricorn in harmonious aspect to uranus in taurus - (both earth signs) we are motivated to re-establish our belief systems & take risks in new areas - entrepreneurial ideas, brand-building, self-promotion, new innovations, sudden inspiration, moodiness and unpredictable behavior - are all themes now. this jupiter-uranus energy helps us to temper some hope into the leaden soup of saturn’s stellium - preparing us for the grand conjunction in capricorn in just a few weeks.
if you are hiding something - it will stab at you now. we cannot take the risk of being flippant or whittling away at our own moral boundaries in these times. the more steadfast we hold against the storm of society, the more coolly we compose ourselves in the face of distress - all the more more pointed and potent the lessons we receive will be.
