"Oh." That voice again, and in the room this time. Crowley would weep, but he's not sure when he last stopped. "Oh," Aziraphale says again, "oh, Crowley."

"They took them," Crowley moans, pitiful even to his own ears. "They took my wings."

hello! Warmth by indigo (indigo_angels) has absolutely ripped my heart apart and put it back together again! this fic is incredible; showcasing crowley and aziraphale's complex relationship throughout the centuries, lots, and i mean /lots/ of hurt crowley, but it works out in the most tender scene imaginable. i cannot recommend this fic enough 💖

He knows Aziraphale wonders about it, sometimes. The snake.

Crowley’s always careful with it. He’s always careful to make it seem like it should be impressive, to posture and pose and tease Aziraphale; or else he’s careful to make it seem like a joke, to fill it to the brim with bravado and confidence until it’s practically sour on his own tongue, laughing and showing off.

He doesn’t ever say that he’s afraid, afterwards, and there’s not really much else to be said.

i would like to recommend the fic the series "play the game" by paintedvanilla! it is one of the best aus i have read, it is very Tender and Loving with good slowburn and wonderful characterization. i binged it all this morning and i cannot recommend it enough!
