Lucina sobbed quietly, wrapping her arms around her knees and drawing them up to her chest. Water was dripping from her hair and her clothes, and she could stop herself from shivering. She was cold… So cold… And scared, too.

When she heard someone address her, she looked up slowly, tears in her eyes. However, when she caught sight of the woman in front of her, she couldn’t help but feel a bit more at east. After all, though she had never actually seen Naga before, she just had that air about her that made the child naturally trust her.
