#WorldChimpanzeeDay shout out from Uganda’s Kibale Forest by #wildographer @dendlich28 * #repost Wow! That was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had in my life. We saw around 50-60 wild chimpanzees of the 100 in this one community. We saw the President, Vice President, females in heat, males competing for females, children, and newly born babies. I got as close as 5 feet from a 19 year old large male. Watched them eat, play and climb all over the canopy. My guide Richard was perfect he was so knowledgeable and knew every chimp by name. Everyone has always asked me what my dream job would be and now I know the answer.
