33. A character you want to protect

Fingon. So much. He is one of the most unanimously good characters that we get and he spent his life fighting for a better world, even though the cards were stacked against him and his allies. He did not deserve what was coming for him, and I have a feeling that some things would have turned out differently (as in, better) if he had lived beyond the Nirnaeth Arnoediad.

The wiki isn't all that reliable. I pegged Griffith as the oldest, Casca second and Guts is the youngest.

That’s fair, I guess if the only info we have is Guts’ age + him thinking Griffith is about the same age as him, which could still mean a small age difference, it’s all up to the reader

3. What is the best fandom you’ve ever been involved in?

Oh man. Um.... Wow. Let’s see... I’d definitely my favorite fandom has probably been... well, probably, honestly, Avatar the Last Airbender, but I’m not sure how seriously to count that.  I’m not really in the fandom, so to speak.  I just kind of skirt the edges and reblog stuff.

As for fandoms I’m actually active in and participate in and produce more than a single piece of content for... That’s probably Final Fantasy VII.  Especially these days, when everyone is so laid back about things.  I mean, sure, there’s one or two ah... more high-strung individuals, but for the most part, everyone is more or less of the opinion, “Write and let write, man.”

We’re fandom hippies at this point, and trust me, it’s glorious.

this is true and tbf they are explicitly given a moment before Guts kills them when they’re like “cool now we can blackmail Griffith ho ho ho we’re so awful” so Guts and Griffith look less dickish for casually betraying and killing them. But that always kind of annoyed me lol. They could’ve been Robin Hoodish criminals with hearts of gold and they still would’ve been killed there, so functionally it doesn’t make any difference. Making them extra off-putting conniving assholes just feels like a cheap way of keeping the audience on Guts’ side. It’s a minor complaint, but still.

I want to find this interview now. I mean to be fair PR-wise I don’t think Miura would admit it was gay even if he was 100% purposeful in laying the overtones on, so a public denial doesn’t really mean much to me and my interpretation lol.

Unfortunately all very very true :(...well at least Puck could liven up the mood and I'm sure Griffith would like him I see Guts driving a motorcycle(its probably cliche but who cares it totally fits him) As for Griffith maybe a luxury car like a Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, or a tesla

it’d be kind of interesting to see puck and griffith interact imo. i’m not sure myself whether griffith would like him (imo it might depend on griff’s state of mind) but i think puck’s magic empathy powers would make for an interesting combination.
