~Mischief&Order~

Tristan had an upset stomach and I had a migraine, so the Puppy Princess needed some extra entertainment for a few days. She got a thick plastic horse pill bottle stuffed with packing paper, packing paper stuffed into two TP tubes,

and a worn-out wool sock (Gwyn's Holy Grail) knotted and stuffed into a hol-ee roller. (thanks to @lloonlloon ! the big hol-ee roller with a toy inside is a genius idea for a dog who likes the puzzle more than the solution/prize)

I'm really impressed that she untied the knot in the sock... and that she still didn't get the sock out after that.

I finished the snuffle mat last night & Spring likes it!! He ate some treats out of it, then I dumped his dinner on it in his crate and he cleaned that up too! I think he'll get to keep it for eating meals now. Addy eats out of a slow feeder bowl to slow her down & the cats get their kibble from a couple puzzle feeders, so this will have everyone eating from something besides plain bowls!

Hah, I managed to make a flirt pole with braided fleece!! It works quite well, and the fleece has some stretch to it which is good. Spring got to test it out & seemed to like it!

~Mischief&Order~

I stuck a holey sock, with some loud crinkley plastic inside, into an empty, washed parmesan cheese shaker. Tristan likes socks, and crinkles, and pulling stuff from out of other stuff.

Apparently it still smelled of cheese, because Yvaine took it immediately and played with it for several days (ignoring the sock entirely). Since she almost never plays with anything but cardboard, I wasn't objecting. I just found other toys for Tris until Yvie was done. She looked so contented!
