“Do you trust me, Rook?” Davrin asks, amusement melting into sincerity. She narrows her eyes at him, “What if I say no?” He laughs, “Get in.” And even though she’s already decided, she pretends to purse her lips skeptically at the water, “Is it cold?” “It’s not bad.”  “Don’t like that answer.” she retorts, scrunching her nose and peering suspiciously over the ledge again. “Are there fish in there?” “No,” he answers, though he’s clearly trying to hide a smile, “No fish.” “You’re lying!” she accuses. “You’re right, I’m lying.” he agrees, unrepentant. “Now come here.” The directive is punctuated by a wave of cool water sent her way.  She scowls, “I don’t like you very much.” “I know.” he grins, splashing her again, entirely remorseless.

I'd like everyone to know that I love them very much and I'm breaking all the windows in my house. Okay go read, bye!

been writing graduate school emails lately, which is fine and all except its pretty anxiety inducing, and trying to explain to my friends the severity of that is proving difficult

so to remedy this, i've settled on saying "the snail-riding tiger has been chasing me all day"

Do you answer every ask you get, or do you skip some/have some you wouldn't want to answer? 👁️👁️

i haaaave anxiety so yeah I skip some because I worry about being annoying. I used to do like...a compiled ask-answer post, but I also don't like that it doesn't notify the askers when I do that. There's some longer ones i want to answer still, and some short ones I cherish but maybe answered similar questions already (lots of people saying they like my au's!! thank you!!)
