MLSHR Anniversary Appreciation Week 

Day Four: Favorite Happy Moment 

For me, episode four, all the little interactions budding between Hae Soo and Wang So culminated into this one moment, the beginning of a friendship. Wang So sharing that he finally gets to be in the place he’s been longing to be in, their banter, Hae Soo sharing thats she’s scared of her feelings and not him, showing care for one another (So by rebuilding the towers he destroyed, Soo by telling him to take care of himself). 

Now, this is something I have been working on for quite sometime, the idea popping into my head with no warning. I mean, A SNOWGLOBE! How had I not thought of it before?! And making it was such a challenge, trying to make the image in my head real and palpable. I even bled for this (do NOT underestimate the sharpness of an X-Acto knife, people). I had never made such small figurines and I had never made a person sitting down. The glitter clumped weird or made the water cloudy, the glue I originally chose just did not stick at all. Seeing it all come together, one step at a time… there was a lot of squealing involved. This was a true labor of love and I just really want to share it with all of you.

Házi készítésű karácsonyi ajándék - H Ó G Ö M B

Ami kell hozzá:

pár üres befőttes üveg (én spagetti szószos üveget használtam)

kis mütyűrök

vízálló ragasztó (A hobby boltban szilikon alapút javasoltak. Egy ragasztón sem láttam feltüntetve az alapanyagát, de én Loctite-t vettem, arra rá volt írva, hogy vízálló.)

csillámpor

desztillált víz (autósboltból vagy benzinkútról)

glicerin, hogy sűrűbb legyen a víz (patikában keverik, 0,5 liter kb. 800 ft)

(gumikesztyű a pillanatragasztóhoz)

(műanyag kupakok, hogy a kis figurák magasabban legyenek)

(valami csomagoló papír, hogy a nem túl szép befőttes üveg fedő ne látszódjon)

A neten olvasgatva egyszerűbbnek tűnt, de azért így sem volt egy rocket science. Az üvegekről eltávolítani a ragasztót volt a legnagyobb macera. Amikor minden tiszta és száraz, akkor ragasztottam a kupakba a kis figurákat. A glicerin/víz hígítási arányra nem találtam konkrét tippet, én kb 1 decit öntöttem egy üvegbe. Először a glicerint kell betölteni, utána a csillámport (2 teáskanál fehér színű por) és el kell keverni, majd utána jön a desztillált víz. Fordított sorrendnél összecsomósodik a csillámpor. A víz mennyiségénél figyelni kell, hogy a kis figurák mennyi vizet fognak kiszorítani. Egy kis ragasztó az üveg menetére, rácsavartam és kész. A képek lámpafénynél készültek, meg telefonnal, egy kicsit zavarosnak néznek ki, de én elégedett vagyok az eredménnyel. Kb. 2 órába telt elkészíteni 5 darabot.
