Somebody asked me, “Did you regret it after?” Pertaining to my DIY uneven bangs. I said ‘no’, as I laughed and giggled. Haha! Then I realized, that what I did in the past that I truly regretted, is regretting. Regretting on things I did that make me happy, make me have a good night sleep, make me true to myself. I have always feigned a personality where society would readily accept. I have denied myself of things that I truly want and desire because I feel that I’m not entitled to it. I have detached myself to people I really really want to be with because I’m afraid I’ll only ruin something beautiful ahead of them. That if they allow me to enter their life, I have denied them of something more worthwhile of their time and attention. Then in the end, I’ll regret. I’ll overthink, “What if, should haves, I could have..” So if I could do something that would keep me from regretting, I do it. And I’ve always wanted to cut my own bangs. Because I need to get it off my head. Lol. It turned out I’m not good at cutting my own bangs. But I discovered, I still look good even in uneven bangs. So, just try whatever you want to do.
