hm, what's your favorite thing about iwaizumi and how did he become your favorite character (assuming he is) :D when he's such a minor character in the series? (i struggled w the second part when friends used to ask me but now i very proudly proclaim "bc hes Wonderful")

Ahhhhh you came for the real questions :D Actual I feel in love with Iwaizumi and Iwaoi before I even knew haikyuu! I saw beautiful fanart of the on my tl and loved it! They also reminded me of my Ocs Aran and Tiuri(Tao) and so it was so easy to fall for them! I was a bit disappointed when I started to watch haikyuu and saw that both Iwaizumi and Oikawa are more side characters. But I already was in love with them and fell even harder. Iwaizumi is indeed my fave character! He is just awesome! I love those stern serious but big hearted characters! Strong and stoic but also caring. And black hair and this whole look and sporty and casual. It’s just my character type :D And he really is great!! Just wonderful!! And has a great character and a great arc!! So strong and handsome! Blunt and funny in his own way! Caring! And forward!! Fantastic!!

And I am lucky! Iwaizumi might be a side character but he is not really small. There is a lot of great fanart but even in canon there is a lot of great material for him and Oikawa! And they both had great arcs and scenes in the time skip arc. So for side characters I feel they are kinda major and I love it! So there was always some new material for them and the whole fandom yelling! Like when we thought we saw the last of them and then BAM!!! both appeared salty and handsome on the bleachers watching the match! They kinda have always been there :D even though I hoped I would have seen and known more of them. But for this we have always fanart and fics!

hello!! I apologize if this has been answered on any FAQ (as I'm using the mobile app) but why do editors write inumaki's name as "inumaki to/ge? and his name spelt conventionally doesn't come up on any Tumblr searches for me!

There’s something odd with how Tumblr’s search works which means that if you just tag it with ‘toge’, it doesn’t show up in the character tag - hence why when you search up ‘inumaki toge’ it doesn’t come up with any posts at all!

I’ve seen that it may have translated ‘toge’ into something inappropriate, but otherwise there’s no proper explanation I’m afraid.

I... I agree. I love their rivalry and I see why and how shippers think that they're soulmates and that they have an intrinsic understanding of each other but like. At the end of the day. Do they even like each other. do they enjoy the others presence? we never got nice canon or filler episodes where they just hung out casually or went on adventures, so how can they romantically love each other when their defining moments all equate to a rivalry

that’s honestly my biggest problem. they don’t know each other as people. they have no reason to be so hung up on each other. give me some stories where sasuke grows fond of his annoying teammate. show me naruto actually listening to sasuke instead of screaming and hitting him

i can’t get on board with punching someone into listening to you. there’s no respect in that. there’s no love. how can i want sasuke to be with someone (romantically or not) who doesn’t listen to him? how can i want naruto to be with someone who wants nothing to do with him?
