Glossary: DIY Performances
DIY Performances are performances that the spectators do themselves. They receive instructions and parts that they can assemble themselves by post, carrier or simply by email or text message and follow the instructions. What they build and make could be music instruments to perform, puppets, or other objects to perform with. These performances can also include exchanges of objects between spectators, like exchange of gifts. The exchange here becomes the performance, the performative connection between people.
