Scratch: The Ultimate DJ
Do you remember the game DJ Hero? If you do have memories of it, it might be nothing more than a fleeting thought about a game that once was. Obviously there are those who look at a game that tries to mimic a musical instrument as a joke and would never give it the time of day. Still, there are others who see the novelty and thrilling aspect of the game play which is easy to learn but hard to master. Since DJing and turntablism seems to be one of those hobbies that eludes the average person, a game built around it is an easy way to explore or at least pretend that they have an idea what is going on. Before Guitar Hero adopted the game DJ Hero, it was in the works as “Scratch: The Ultimate DJ”. We don’t know what that it because it was never released under that name. The game play is the same type of game play that has been popular in Japanese dance machines and the like. It was a game of coordination as well as rhythm more than anything else.
