No More Harvard Debt While you may not feel like you have a lot in common with a Harvard MBA grad with 90k in debt, most people can relate to wanting to trim down their expenses to get their finances in check. After realizing the interest on his student loan was going to be the real burden after getting out of school, Joe Mihalic, the author of No More Harvard Debt, decided to drastically change his lifestyle and do everything possible (short of lying, cheating and stealing) to pay off his massive loan as quickly as he could. In seven months, he managed to wipe out his debt, documenting the whole process in a series of blog posts that laid his finances out in painstaking detail. Along the way, he also offered some sound tips to getting your own monetary situation in check, regardless of your debt load. In addition to the blog, a quick YouTube video about the project was also created. From big-picture financial stuff to advice on trimming your consumer habits, No More Harvard Debt is both an interesting and informative read. Goths on OkCupid While @OkcLovesTheWire may be the best at repurposing info from a dating site on Twitter, Goths on Ok Cupid may be your new favourite Tumblr. MP3 of the Week: DJ Illo – Shake Your Rump (Illo Remix) Eh! Team’s DJ Illo offers up his remix of the Beastie Boys’ Shake Your Rump that he put together a few years back. Video of the Week: Laser Doigt Since the mid ’90s, Rob Vilar has been quietly establishing himself as an indie actor, writer and DJ, creating a weird mystique that can come across as socially shy, effortlessly cool or oddly comforting — usually all at the same time. If he isn’t turning up in local short films or Fringe plays, he seems to be the go-to DJ for those looking to set a certain tone for the evening, offering everything from obscure dream weapons on hard-to-find European labels to socially conscious hip hop to left-field electronic gems to moody cuts that you have on your iPod but forgot about (that’s exactly the eclectic playlist he pulled from the last time I saw him perform at a warehouse in the Exchange). Despite his broad strokes behind the decks, he somehow he makes it all work. In a recent short feature by Damien Ferland, the University of Winnipeg theatre grad and his laser-wielding finger are lured into the army and his quirky, quintessentially Vilarian performance makes this a must-see for anyone interested in what is happening in the local film scene.

Nice four part mix here with the homie Four Color Zack taking the lead and the other dudes, Illo and U Tern doing their thing as well. Don't know Sam Demoe, but he is in the mix too.
Plenty of House, Hip Hop, Disco, and Re Edits on here to get your week going nice.
