i mostly think it was weird to have this big set up episode and then (what felt like) out of chronological order breather episodes so early?? hopefully its just the calm before the storm and theres some meaty content in the upcoming eps

Every season has a super important!! episode smack in the middle of it (ex. Alone At Sea, That Will Be All), and Jungle Moon was our super important episode for this season with the Pink Diamond reveal. Things typically calm down for a bit plotwise and then start to pick up again as we gear towards the season finale. After the next episode (a 30 min ep, Fly Me to the Moon), we’ll be 7 eps away from the finale.
