A couple of years ago for my birthday, a friend of mine got me a gift card because he tried to find the original magazine with the original Self Portrait by Armen Susan Ordjanian but wasn’t able to track it down. It took a little while and a few emails but i was able to track down the original issue of the Blatant Image that had the Self Portrait image in it.
I fell in love with this image in the Djano Jane music video by Janelle Monae and love the original inspiration just as much.
