This past Tuesday, Brooklyn’s own DJ Boof (celebrity DJ for Nicki Minaj & Fabolous) hosted the first installment of his Summer Pop Up Rave Series entitled “BOUNCE”. This was a FREE event held at Friends & Lovers BK in Crown Heights. The night began with DJ Ominya (of Da Union) warming up the crowd in the lounge area When 8:45pm hit it was officially SHOWTIME, as the doors opened to the performance space where Boof awaited guests to began the “DJ Boof Experience”.
This wasn’t just your regular party, Boof gave a history & background to his favorite soon. He let the music tell his life story growing up as just a kid from Brooklyn. He even touched on his days as dancer on the infamous Flex N Brooklyn BCAT show.
