@KendraOrKouture is someone I had the pleasure of meeting in 2011 via @coolrunningdjs as she is #DjKouture . She is an award-winning dj, has done radio, and eveb a mixtape series with me titled #DoubleTrouble. While djing, at the time she was also working a job that she was cool with, yet had the desire to learn graphic arts and started playing around with it. As she got better, I started to tell her, you should put it out there and see what happens (I'm sure others did as well, but this is my storytime lol)....anyways she relocated to a different state and I suggested that she should give her passion a real effort before looking for a new job. Long story short; in 2014 she was named #GraphicDesignerOTY - Winner at the @TBRDiamondAwards and in 2015 took home #FemaleEntrepreneurOTY at the #TBRDiamondAwards and #BestGraphicArtist at the @scmawards ! At that time she had only launched her graphic design business @kouturedesigns ; but there was more in store for her. She also has a passion for crafts and started making custom tees, cups, and other things. While doing so she saw that there was a need for #Notebooks and #Journals designed with some #BlackGirlMagic and #BlackPride flare.... that was the beginning of @gandgpaperco 《《《 to date they have already produced over 1500 handmade notebooks. (They count the pages, hole punch the pages, and spiral bind them together. All of this plus a full-time mommy of 2 beautiful girls.
