fishes Midoriya out of the river, unimpressed.
Pairing: Frevy (Freed x Levy)
Prompt: Pillow fight requested by @rougescribe
Universe: Canon
Rating: K+
“Have you seen my sh-”
Something forced him to interrupt his sentence, or rather muffled the rest of it. When he walked into the living room he simply hadn't anticipated to get hit by something. What a sneaky ambush!
Freed was quiet for a moment, shut up by the pillow that had hit him right in the face. It hadn't hurt but it had been enough to surprise him successfully. And who was the culprit?
Levy was standing there, a bright grin on her face. Her eyes were smug and her stance a challenge. “Yes? What did you want to ask?”
Fully turning towards his gilrfriend, the surprise had seeped out of his expression. Now it had turned back to a neutral one and he shortly eyed the bluenette. He didn't appreciate being ambushed. If this had been Levy's plan all along, then well, she had succeeded.
But he was always down for a challenge. He was always down for revenge.
And he had found the thing he had been looking for; one of his shirts that had mysteriously gone missing.
It looked way too large on Levy's body but he definitely liked seeing it on her. Especially if it was the only thing she was wearing besides her underwear, and that was currently the case.
Just a pity that his main attention got drawn back to pillow in her hands.
“My question has been answered,” the Raijinshuu's captain responded finally. “I was wondering where my shirt had disappeared to and quite apparently you would have been able to answer this question. I just got distracted by a pillow hitting my face.”
“Oh.”~ Levy was still grinning, her voice way too lively and innocent. “So?”
“So?” Freed arched up a brow. He had already accepted the challenge and he was going to act on it. “I will-”
SMACK! The pillow hit him in the face for a second time this evening and he wished he would have already gone for a counterattack. Instead he was now regretting his intention to draw out the moment. He could impossibly let her get away with this.
“Oops.”~ The script mage giggled, and upon seeing Freed's facial expression change she playfully began to run behind the couch.
“'Oops', she says.” He gave a low growl, striving for an exasperated face though it was all part of the game. If Levy paid attention then she'd spot the slightest hint of an incoming smirk on his face before he began to move.
Giving a weak squeak when Levy realized that Freed was coming closer now and quickening his pace, she began to run around the couch and the table, occasionally swinging around the pillow behind herself.
“Oh just you wait!” The rune mage was full on grinning now and going after her, silently enjoying the joyful giggles coming from his girlfriend. Another spare pillow had been on the couch for him to grab and once he got close enough to reach her, he hit her shoulder and head while still running after her.
“Noooo!” Levy kept laughing, almost stumbling over her own feet when Freed suddenly turned to change the direction while still running in circles around the table and couch.
He loved to hear her laugh, he loved the confident expression of challenge that had been in her eyes.
But that was even more reason to go for merciless revenge.
After hitting her head a second time, getting hit by Levy's randomly swinging pillow simulatenously, Freed suddenly threw his away. It managed to confuse his girlfriend for a moment and that was his chance to strike back differently.
With a swift movement he had ripped her pillow out of her grasp and tossed it across the room as well. Squeaking again, Levy tried to jump away but it was too late as she found herself in a strong grip already.
“Gotcha!” Smirking, Freed adjusted his hold quickly as he threw his girlfriend over his shoulder. He felt some protest coming from her and it wasn't long till he had her playfully hitting him but that didn't knock him out of his stride.
“Let me down!” She began to drum her small fists against his lower back, not quite able to keep giggles out of her voice entirely.
Freed raised a brow, then just gave a hum as he began to walk towards his bedroom. “I will, but not right here.” There were more pillows to hit her with once he had thrown her onto his cozy bed.
Realizing where she was being carried over to Levy stopped her protest but had a similar thought as him. There were at least two pillows in the bedroom. If she just managed to grab one or both before him--
And who knew what this playfulness would result into this time. She wouldn't have anything against some affection after it. But her very first priority was to carry away the victory here. For now. She tried to sound innocent again when she asked, having completely stopped moving as she hung over his shoulder slackly. “So what are you gonna do, huh?”
“I don't know.” A lie, and he made sure that she would hear his smirk. “Perhaps I need to teach you some manners again, Miss Levy McGarden. To steal from-” Freed gave a light tug to her too big shirt. “-and to ambush helpless people isn't a nice thing to do.”
He almost caught himself chuckling at the noise Levy made.
“Helpless, of course!” She laughed at the ridiculousness of his statements. Levy liked teasing and playfull bothering her boyfriend every now and then... but god knows he was a bigger tease than she was. And a much more devilish one!
“But since I am a merciful soul-”
Lies! “Stop making me laugh!” She snorted, and he was still smirking.
“-I think I will allow you to keep my shirt on for the time being.”
Truthfully, that had her realize again how little she was wearing right now. And despite her having calculated this fact in her intentions, it did have her blush a little, still hanging over his shoulder, as the door to his bedroom fell open.
ooc;; okay but can we appreciate the fact that, apparently, Dadzawa lost one of his slippers for how quickly he headed to Shouto’s house because he was worried about him when seeing Endeavor’s fight
Lisanna: So what's it like being married to Evergreen?
Elfman: Once, I asked her for a glass of water while she was pissed at me, and she brought me a glass full of ice and said "wait".
🤙 kagura @ freed for that attitude

🤙Bump into my muse
To say thatKagura and him didn’t get along would be a false assumption made dueto one single obversation. A layer of respect had been existentbetween the two sword wielder for a long time and they hadsuccessfully held mutliple conversations in the past – and it wasof importance to note that not every single one of those conversations had been ones animpersonal basis, either. A lack of respect or even dislike was an inaccurateword to describe the bond they shared.
There had merely always lingeredsomething around them that… repeatedly caused them to clash. Theensuing issue was never something too serious and nothing that evercreated true harm to any of the two parties, however.
Just like rightnow.
Upon feeling the not so subtle touch when Kagura walked pasthim, Freed sent a glare towards her he didn’t attempt to conceal. Notlike she was currently looking back to perceive it anyway, but it wasthe natural expression his facial features got tugged into in an instant. The womanmust have noted his previous reaction to what she’d said – and inhis book this very reaction had been entirely justified – and thiswas her way of showing that she disapproved.
To be fair, part of himhad intended for her to see it and judging his successfulness by herprior, pyhsical response then it was rated fairly high.
“Tchz,“Freed emitted a huff, just loud enough for anybody near him toperceive. “Couldn’t be any more obvious, now could you.“ His gazefollowed Kagura for a moment longer before he got back to hisprevious task.
No, the ‘issues’ really were never something too serious, neversomething truly harmful… it would most likely be more accurate tosay that it was both their challenging sides spurring one another onand it would be a statement filled with denial that those occasionalclashes couldn’t be at least a little bit entertaining at times, depending on their nature.
