[ Drake loves memes. His social media is composed of memes and Gosalyn, nothing else. His daily routine always includes spending time on his phone to just look at memes, either in between shoots at work or when waiting to head out for patrol. He keeps up with the latest in dank memes, but likes to use dead memes because Gosalyn hates them. ]

muse headcanons:☠ my muse’s biggest fear

{ Losing whatever she genuinely grows to love. It’s why she does not let herself get attached easily. She can handle pain, and threat on her own life, but she has lost too many friends and family over the years for various reasons, and she hates it. Loss is a hard feeling to bury, compared to any others.

     Also I’m going to mention two that are right under that because I think I’ve only talked about fear one time for a meme, so I’m going to ramble a little because even though she never has a ‘freezing up’ level of fear about anything, that doesn’t mean she isn’t queasy after dealing with a few things–

Not having any sense of control over a situation. Goldie is usually one step ahead due to intelligence, or good at predicting, if it’s a situation she’s dealt with one similar to before. Having no idea or say in what is happening, especially when someone besides herself is in danger, makes her… even more emotionally unpredictable than usual. And I don’t mean in a her-breaking-down way, I mean in a violent way.

Various forms of things that feel suffocating. Some examples are hating being grabbed by the neck, or (obviously) someone actually trying to kill her by means of asphyxia. For classic gal, this can even mean feeling uncomfortable in thickly crowded places. Ironically, she has no fear of drowning as far as swimming or diving is concerned. And yes, that means (for modern gal) the time spent submerged in the golden lagoon was not fun even though she could not be burned, and it took a few minutes for her to recover after she finally crawled out; if it wasn’t for that, Glom wouldn’t have even had time to tie up Scrooge.

Sleeping beside someone is still new to Egon. It feels like that only makes it more obvious when something is wrong. 

He blearily sits up, squinting into the darkness of the room as his hand reaches out to grab his glasses. Once they’re on his nose, he looks to Janine and watches for a moment. 

“Janine?” 

His hand firmly shakes her shoulder to wake her up when she continues to make distressed noises. 

“Janine.” He says again, voice concerned as he tries to wake her.
