At one point in my life, I was a little speedy Gonzales. This was before age got the best of my knees and my sweet tooth got the best of my belly. But since I started the #seeyououtthere running challenge with @dickssportinggoods I’ve noticed that I have way less knee pain even after running sprints on the concrete. Either I’m getting stronger or these @nike running shoes are REALLY absorbing all the shock. May is almost over and so is #nationalrunnersmonth but if you did this running challenge with me we can keep it going. What did I overcome today? A laundry list of challenges from taking care of toddler, mama, aging dog, full time job and blog job. What I’m really proud of is the fact I got a run in through all my tears and anguish today. May is still #nationalrunnersmonth and I’m still rocking my @dickssportinggoods gear as I try to become a runner. I did decide today though that I’m not a long distance or even mid-distance runner. Sprinting is where my heart lies so I did a bunch of short sprints to get my heart rate going and my endorphins kicking. I needed the good feel hormones to crash through my body because sincerely the amount of times I ugly cried today is insane.
