Mid conversation with a friend-

"You've always embraced and are good at everything you do." When I find something I like, I don't give up on it unless I'm given a good reason to. And I can refer that to anything I've ever done. First hobbies were regular sports when I was younger. Basketball, hockey, roller hockey turned into skating. Made tons of friends. Broke my leg skating and then my love for video games came into effect; learning every song on expert in Rock Band simply taught me to play the drums...started a band-made tons more friends. Through skating, I discovered kendama in videos of rollerbladers in Japan and on tours, etc. when I ordered one, had a great new hobby. Got a couple weeks in and knew I was never going to stop playing. It's been my life outside of work for about three years now. And the amount of people I've met through this or friends I've made because of it, is just fucking insane. Why would I ever stop?
