Dave Karofsky Week Day 7 - Free Day

“Because I’m going to help you. And so is everyone else who loves you and accepts you for who you are. And if they can’t accept that, then screw em.”

Just wanted to give my boy the most love on this last day! Thank you to everyone that’s participated or been a hype man this week-- it’s been a rough year for all of us, so I’m glad we can at least find some solace in this character and fandom <3

Hey all! The Dave Karofsky Discord has gotten together to organize a week celebrating our favourite Midwest Bear Cub! Through the week of August 9th, we’ve organized a number of different, fun themes to create works for. Feel free to create for as many or as few days as you’d like! 

All works are welcome-- fanfics, fanart, playlists, graphics, or whatever else your heart desires. Whatever you make, you post on the corresponding day-- pretty simple! (Feel free to mix in any Dave ships you happen to like as well!)

Use the tag “#DKWEEK2020″ when you post so we can get a collection going!

Day 1 - Sun. 8/9: CROSSOVER - Slip Dave into another work of fiction! Anything from novels to other shows or movies!

Day 2 - Mon. 8/10: MAGICAL - Anything magical or supernatural! 

Day 3 - Tues. 8/11: CANON FIX-IT - Choose something from canon to redo!

Day 4 - Wed. 8/12: HOLIDAY - Dave celebrating any holiday of your choosing!

Fortuitous Coincidence or More?

Kurt dresses up to hand out candy on Halloween. Someone he doesn't expect stops by to trick-or-treat. What's one more unexpected thing the fall of his senior year?

Kurt returned to the front door after refilling his cauldron with candy bars in the dining room. He arrived just a few seconds before a girl about 5 or 6 years old made it to the door. She was wearing an adorable fuzzy Cheer Care Bear onesie. Right behind her stepped her chaperone, David Karofsky, wearing an equally adorable fuzzy Bashful Heart Care Bear onesie.

Kurt was wearing a soft fur tabby cat onesie with ears on an oversized hood that pulled down over his face and had eye slits he could see through. He had seen some online, but used those only as a reference and made his own that fit better, as well as looked nicer. To keep his identity hidden, he hadn't been talking and had just held up one finger to indicate that the trick-or-treaters should take just one candy bar. But when he saw Dave, he broke his silent pantomime.

"David?" Kurt said, obviously shocked to see him dressed the way he was. He flipped the hood back so his face could be seen.

"Um, yeah. Hey, Kurt. This is my niece, Anna. She picked my outfit. Isn't it great?" His eyes implored Kurt not to make fun of him.

"It is. It's fantastic!" Kurt said enthusiastically. "You did a great job picking it out, Anna. And for being such an amazing costume advisor, you can have two candy bars."

Miles Away

“Kurt told me what you did.”

Dave looked around. People were passing close to him, busy with laughing and careless conversations. If he stopped for a second, he could hear their words, one by one, and he was sure they could hear the conversation that was happening right now. He started shaking, in fear and rage.

“Oh yeah,” he tried to sound sarcastic, as if he couldn't care less of what was happening. “What's that?”

Inside, he was dying.

He didn't know who that boy who was talking to him was, or why did he care so much to make him embrace the gay. He was shorter, and he was wearing a private school uniform. His hair was dark, his skin tanned.

Dave wondered if he was Kurt's boyfriend. Maybe that's why he wanted to ruin his life.

“You kissed me,” Kurt said.

He could deny the truth, or at least try. He could beg them to stop, to shut up. He would have, but he was scared to attract even more attention on the situation. The words were out already, and nothing could have made them disappear.

He grabbed the preppy kid by his jacket and slammed him to the cold metal, until Kurt stopped him, pushing him away as he did in the past.

As he did when Dave kissed him.

The world was spinning, and Dave knew it was the beginning of the end.

At Kurt and Blaine's second wedding, an asteroid hits Dave and Sebastian. Next day, they wake up 4 years ago in the past. Would they find a way to go back to their time? Would they have to resign to repeat their lives? Would Dave end up with Kurt or Seb? Let's find out in our collective imagination because I'm probably not going to follow up this one.

Dave Karofsky Week Day 2 - Magic ||

“Karofsky?”

Nov. 10 2010 , Lima OH - Authorities alerted that 17 year-old David Karofsky has been reported missing as of yesterday, Nov. 9. Witnesses at William McKinley High School reported last seeing him fleeing the school’s premises at roughly 2:00PM after a confrontation with another student. The student in question cannot be reached for comment at this time.

I’ve had an idea floating around for some time of Dave being cursed during Never Been Kissed, and when he suddenly turns up missing, Kurt trusts his gut and goes out to look for him, only to find something very not human.
