Update on Yoon

On September 19, 2019 DONGKIZ staff posted an update on the DKZ fancafe addressing Yoon's absence from the group's promotions.

Yoon apologised in the post saying that his knee and back injuries began to overlap and cause him too much pain to continue.

Both the artist and the company decided to put him on rest for awhile until he feels better and is able to promote safely.

There has been no word since about Yoon's condition or status with the upcoming comeback.

Fans have acknowledged that for DKZ'S current comeback (1st mini album being released on November 6th, 2019) there is a high likelihood that Kyoung Yoon will not be participating. The reason behind the thought is because member photo teasers only include 4 release dates, giving the impression that only Wondae, Munik, Jae and Bell will be releasing photos.

This doesn't necessarily mean that Yoon is no longer in DKZ, he is probably just sitting this comeback out because of his health condition. (Admin note: DKZ released a funny photo set on their Facebook page about the type of style DKZ will have in the next comeback. The photoset included a photo of Yoon which was the most recent time he was included on a post. The post was made October 23,2019)

I'll continue to update this blog when I can about Yoon's status since I know a lot of us are worried about him.

I apologize that I only now found the post on the fancafe as it was from a little over a month ago. Like most Ari's I've been anxious about Yoon's absence but I hadn't had the time to go onto the fancafe and translate the posts.

Recent developments in The Boyz, We in the Zone and Stray Kids kickstarted me into trying to get more information on Yoon.

Continue to support DKZ and all members, both active and on rest. We love them so much it's literally our fan name and it is such a big deal that they'll be releasing their first mini album in only a few weeks!
