Released June 1st, 2012, ‘We Are The Others’ is their third full-length album. The album was inspired and dedicated to Sophie Lancaster, a goth girl who was beat to dead, because of her alternative appearance.
In an interview with Sonic Cathedral, vocalist Charlotte Wessels discussed the inspiration she drew from the Sophie Lancaster case:
“I remember when I first heard about it… it wasn’t on Dutch news, I just heard about it through Internet networks and the goth scene… there was this movie made about it, a short film of about four minutes. I saw it, and I just cried. It’s so incredibly sad! After seeing the movie, I didn’t really DO anything with it until we were working on “We Are the Others.” But the basic idea of the lyrics was there. It was just supposed to be a song about “we are the others” and a feeling of togetherness. On the one hand, being proud of whoever you are, whether you divert from the norm in whatever way you divert from the norm. But on the other hand, it is also kind of a song for “others”. We just wanted a song about acceptance.”

Released March 20, 2009 ‘April Rain’ is the second full-length album by Delain.
Martijn Westerholt, founder of Delain, originally did not intend Delain to be a live band. But after the success of debut album ‘Lucidity’ a live band was created which recorded this album. While Delain's previous album featured many guest appearances, this album has only two: Maria Ahn, cellist from the Ahn Trio and Finnish singer Marco Hietala, who was featured on multiple tracks of ‘Lucidity’ as well. "Virtue and Vice" is the only song on ‘April Rain’ containing death growls performed by guitarist Ronald Landa, who also contributes clean vocals on "Invidia".

Released May 1st, 2013 ‘Interlude’ is a compilation album.
The album contains brand-new songs, special versions and mixes of popular Delain tracks and covers. It also includes a special DVD featuring exclusive live footage and clips from the band's career.
“I’ve never felt as confident in my skin as I do today... Once I started feeling better about myself, I felt better about showing more skin. I have insecurities about my arms, so to wear a tank top on stage is extremely liberating for me, and uncomfortable sometimes. It’s also a statement, like, ‘Hey, watch out. You’re no longer getting the insecure Demi that you’ve been getting for the past couple of years. I mean business now.”
‘’I feel healthy, I feel happy. Back then I felt an emptiness inside of me, and I reached for so many things—a person, a substance, a behavior—to fill that void. And now there’s not a void anymore. The void is filled by me taking care of myself.… Getting sober was difficult. I went into rehab, I came out, and I didn’t stay sober. I still had issues occasionally. Now some days it’s difficult; some days it’s easy. But I like to focus on what I’m doing now, which is giving back. I’ve done interventions with people I’ve been close to.‘’
‘You Don't Do It For Me Anymore’ is a song about the old Demi for the new herself.
