love the overlapping circles of "evil" and "asshole" in the cast. Geist Seven and Drifter are all capital E evil, but Seven's funny and charming when he feels like it and Geist is occasionally soft on the individuals she doesn't see the benefit in killing right now likes. Drifter's only ever doing what's funniest.

then there's the "clearly bad people" but not as bad as the above category. your Wraiths and your Yamatos. McGinnis. crimelords and war criminals. Wraith and McG are often sociable, and for Wraith this is a stated social strategy of hers, don't offend/piss off anyone who *could* be a potential ally. sometimes her ego gets in the way of that but she actively *tries* not to be an asshole. Yama tho, she's like the perfect cross section of evil and absolute jackass

And then. Jacob Lash. who compared to the true evil on the cast is not really a bad person. but is somehow the most asshole of them all.
