The odd perspex tunnel at Poplar DLR station, London

Useless fact- the platforms at Pontoon Dock are one of the highest above street level on the DLR network and the station has no escalators. Luckily a refurbishment of the station is due and escalators should be installed by 2028.

The last time I went to Tokyo Disneyland, they were celebrating all things Donald Duck. This time, it was Minnie Mouse's Funderland!

Shalbatana Vallis !

This image from ESA’s Mars Express shows part of Shalbatana Vallis, a large channel in Mars’s equatorial region.

Ancient floods once ripped across Mars, carving the massive Shalbatana Vallis channel and reshaping the planet’s surface.

This image comprises data gathered by Mars Express’s High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on October 22, 2024 (orbit 26265).
