DCP Phone Interview!

DCP Phone Interview!
I have my phone interview tomorrow and I’m so excited! I’m a lot more prepared this time around so I’m hoping it will go well! Fingers crossed
GUESS WHO'S TURNING TO THE OTHER COAST
So I had my phone interview today! My interviewer, Patty, asked about my school background, eligibility and past roommate situations. Then she asked about my past experience at the WDW DCP, and why I wanted to apply again and hoped to get out of the experience. Afterwards she asked role specific questions to see my experience, how I would handle a situation, and my comfortability with said situations.
I would say I felt really prepared and happy with all my answers, and from as much as I can tell from a phone call, I think Patty did too!
The only thing I would say is, I didn’t really get to talk about the role that was my first choice as much as I wanted, but I did let her know what it was. Also my phone didn’t have the best service and she asked me to repeat myself I think three times which I feel terrible about, but I apologized every time and at the end to which she said she understood.
Fingers crossed I hear back soon!

Footage from my trip to Disneyland this weekend. I had to make a last second trip before my pass expires next week. SO wish I could have made it during the full-swing of holidays at the parks, but oh well. I did, however, get to meet another future CP, Dianne, who I met on the Facebook group. She had to take me to Pixie Hollow to meet Fawn (which we did, but my pictures came out sucky and didn’t make it into the video). My phone kept crapping out on my so i have really random clips and not as much of what i wanted, but this will have to suffice till January!

Today brought back all of my dreams. Since coming to work for Disney, I lost sight of my dream of becoming a tour manager. I was so happy with Disney that I had no motivation to move up. But today... Man. I stood on the front steps of the Dolby Theatre where the Oscars are being held this Sunday and all of my dreams came rushing back to me. How much I want to be in the entertainment scene. How I want to lead something that makes so many people happy. How i want my life to revolve around music. I peered inside the actual offices of the theatre and my soul just soared. I'm meant to be here in California. I'm meant for this lifestyle. Call me insane, but I've always wanted my name on the big screen. And I would still love to have my name up there for acting but since that's a long shot, I'd love to be known for being a leader in entertainment. I've had the dream of Hollywood engraved in my brain for as long as I can remember. I use to draw the Hollywood sign on papers and have my mom put it on the fridge. Some of my birthday parties were Hollywood themed growing up. I'm not going to sugarcoat the city and make it out to be so glamorous and nice like I thought it was when I was 7. It's actually a sketchy place. But it feels like home to me. I think I belong there. I went up to a woman who was overseeing the set up of the Oscars. I asked her what her exact job was and she said she's security supervisor. As I stood underneath the Dolby Theatre sign, I told her that this was what I wanted to do. I slightly looked up at the entrance of the theatre and as silly as it may sound, I saw myself there. I pictured myself in about 20 years outside the steps of this theatre. The setting was nighttime and an award show was about to happen. And I was being interviewed for something or other. I looked back at the girl after my little daydream was over and said "how do I get here?" It's been so long since I've had motivation to do something with my life. I know working for Disney is a great start, but I know I'm meant for more. I signed up for this tour just for fun, but I had no idea the impact it'd leave on me.
