DL: Ah, Rena! How are y-

Rena: D! Just in time for the test!!! I've got a new invention that's REALLY gonna shake up Atlas~!

DL: ...This doesn't involve dragon-

Rena: -No, it does not involve dragons...this time.

[gestures to an office chair and-]

DL: .......Is that a rocket? On an office chair?

Rena: YES! I've already set up a racetrack and everything~! Steering was a little difficult to figure out, but we'll start slow before getting into the *real* race.

DL: Isn't that... Ah, I 'unno.... Dangerous?

Rena, no hesitation: Yes, very!

I'm doing alright! I just didn't sleep well last night because I wasn't at home in my own bed, and then I got up earlier than I usually do so I could head home and get ready for work, so I'm a little tired is all haha

I'll find out the results of my test next week and then we'll find out if I need a CPAP machine or not :)

🍒 - What are some headcanons you have about your f/o?

I don’t know if I have too too many personal hcs because I haven’t been developing this ship as much fhesilfjfes bad Nova....but the usual cat related hcs like “he purrs/kneads involuntarily when he’s happy,” “he hisses when he’s scared/upset,” "he gets distracted by and chases bugs and other similar objects,” “if he fits in a box he sits” fhieslfselfes like...they’re so stupid but I love that stuff so much, especially since he and Nova can be dumb furries together 

🍇 - How did you get introduced to your f/o?

Like many people I was bombarded with a bunch of art and info about the available villagers when ACNH first came out, and none of them really impressed me at first. I was actually convinced I wasn’t going to get an f/o out of this series (much less TWO, although I’m not as vocal about the second one because I’m still kind of embarrassed about it and he certainly hasn’t replaced my love for Raymond and never will) because I didn’t think I could f/o an AC character...like they don’t have a ton of personality, there’s no real plot or interaction in the game, there’s just not a lot to go off of? But the way the fandom took to portraying him coupled with his appearance just won me over somehow...and I surrendered to the crush feelings that infected me about this sassy overhyped catboy that I just want to kiss and snuggle and call my own fheislfjeslifkes

💛 - Do you like the source material your f/o came from? (it's okay if you don't or do!)

Yeah! I still play AC every day, and I think I’m finally starting to lock in the way I want my island to look. It’s a simple game but it helped me feel productive when I was under the dark cloud of depression (and still does, even if that productivity is just an illusion.) My favorite thing is getting to collect outfits and customize areas of my island to make neat getaway spots where Nova and Raymond could go hang out...I’ve got a cafe and a forested witchy area and a bamboo grove with a bunch of neat decorations that I really love...and I like to imagine them hanging out/going on dates in those areas a lot :D
