I introduced an NPC--a tall, brooding guard captain--to help the party of level 1s find the plot. Afterward, one of my players told me both she AND her character think he’s insanely hot. I’d given him a soft, sort of British accent, and she said, “And the accent helps a lot, too.”

I just grinned at her, because I was trying to imitate the dulcet tones of Matthew Mercer.
