So... small vent.

Am i the odd one out how some people despise the new anime? Including Season 2?

Like I get Adi Shinkar is doing his own thing, the anime isn't a direct one to one of the games, but at this point what game adaptation is now?

Ive seen remarks from people calling this show Devil May Cry Fanfiction or "Designed for Tunblr Girls" and like... I get it but no?

The show is taking liberties to develop a more streamline version of the show that can be more accessible to new fans which thats not a bad thing, and and honestly its gotten me more involved in the franchise and I'm having fun.

I dont want to call it gatekeeping on some people's part which admittedly... for some people they do gatekeep and thats not new.

But still the level of disdain for petty stuff like a reference to the plastic chair or the Lady/Dante relationship (also i persoanlly dont have an issue)

Some of the hate is just... cartoonishly mean
