In truth, Modeus had barely felt the collision. He had been absentmindedly wandering around the new location, taking in the sights and looking everywhere but in front of him. Nor did he ever really need to - the black clad male was tall enough that even whilst slouching he often stood out among the crowd. People simply parted for him to pass.
“No, no, it was my mistake. I apologize–” he leans over, immediately extending a hand to her to help her up. Had he not been paying so little attention to his surroundings, he would have at least been able to catch her before she fell. Modeus’s time in the Human World really was making him sloppy.
“Please, miss. Allow me to make this up to you–”
it was about five past five in the morning . nadia was on her way home when she made that collision . she was grateful that the male before her was a gentleman and she accepted his hand . as she stood up again she could feel her head becoming a little woozy . she hadn’t gotten a lot of sleep recently and running on caffeine wasn’t always a great idea . the minute she got back to her volkwagen she was going to pass out .
“ ah , yeah sure ? i guess coffee would be nice . ” she was an addict to that drink . she’d get a coffee with the stranger then head back to her place to sleep . she’d just humor him for now , it’s not like she couldn’t protect herself . however , the witch was so fatigued at the moment she couldn’t sense the demonic strength that emanated from the other .
