Youtube FanFest 2015: Who To Look Out For
With only a week to go, everyone is gearing up for the slew of rising Youtube stars that will be gracing the Singapore Youtube FanFest at the All The Matters Live event that will be happening next week. Fans will get a chance to meet stars who have only existed to them through screens previously and can get up close and personal in the various activities planned for them like performances and a Meet and Greet session, and even a newly added technical workshop this year!
Stars who are coming from overseas include The Fung Brothers, Wong Fu Productions, Kurt Hugo Schneider and DMingThing in addition to a whole range of rising stars from within the heart of Singapore. Presenting a whole wide range of talents catered to a wide and varied audience, there is something for everyone. We have curated a list of our top 5 youtubers to watch out for when they are in town!
Kurt Hugo Schneider is a songwriter, director and producer of films, music videos and recordings. He first started off in 2007, and has managed to garner a followership of over 5 million subscribers and has a huge portfolio of 150 over videos. Kurt has collaborated with numerous artists including Victoria Justice, Jason Mraz, Jason Derulo, Philip Phillips, Christina Grimme, and of course his longtime buddy, Sam Tsui. Recognised as an innovative producer in the music and entertainment industry, he lives and works in Los Angeles, constantly generating new content for various Youtube personalities. Tehnical fans interested in learning more about music video productions would definitely learn a lot from Kurt!
One of Indonesia’s finest beatboxing crews out there, their name pretty much says it all. Not just skilled in beatboxing, they are also born to entertain. Returning to Youtube FanFest again, the quartet have arranged a whole setlist of specially arranged songs to blow your ears away. For those aspiring beatboxers out there, Jakarta BeatBox have also uploaded some tutorials on their youtube channel for you guys to learn how to hone your beatboxing skills. Show some mad love for this crew who can do so much with just their mouth!
