OMG YES DESN WOULD TOTALLY HAVE A THING FOR LITO. they'd be laying on deans bed and Dean's arm around Cas would tense up a bit, and his hands form fists when Lito appears on screen 😌

AND CAS WOULD GET A LIL CONFUSED AND DEAN WOULD BE LIKE “DON’T WORRY CAS, YOU’RE MY HERNANDO” AND THEY WOULD CUDDLE.

Oh man you know what's killing me rn? The thought of Dean swimming out to the sea in a desperate attempt to save Cas and realizing that Cas has been dead for years. And so Dean's just floating there on the water with his head barely above the surface, unable to tell if the salt is from his tears or the sea. He's left feeling numb and empty all at once. Afloat and aching.
