You can hear part of the inspiration behind Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in F Major (and maybe even the more famous D Minor one, if he wrote it). 

My 3 favourite things about the Baroque era: 1)- J S Bach, 2)- The Baroque Violin, and 3)- The North German organ school, of which Buxtehude was one of the most famous proponents.
