“What is more festive than a little last-minute shopping?” Dustin asks with a wink.

“Shopping when normal people shop.” You respond with a chuckle.

Dustin sighs dramatically and throws his hands in the air in surrender. “Fine, you’ve got me. I just have a problem.”

You shake your head as you head into the next shop. “I won’t tell anyone, I promise. Well, maybe Jodi, but she already knows, probably.” You joke

“Oh, how cruel. Have I fallen for The Grinch?”

You get an idea and fight the smirk that tries to creep up your face.

As the two of you browse the store, you start pointing at items. “Hate hate hate, hate hate hate, double ha-“

“What are you doing?” Dustin questions as he fights laughter.

“Oh, I thought I was The Grinch.” You respond with a sly grin.

Dustin gives in to his laughter and pulls you into a kiss in the middle of the store. “Oh, how I love you.”

Diana Moore

Wrapping an insane amount of presents wasn’t on your checklist for the day, but somehow Diana roped you into her wrapping debacle.

“I think you bought something from every store in Raven Hill, which is impressive. Some of them don’t really scream ‘Christmas Gift’” you say as you put the last piece of tape on the last gift.

Diana smiled to herself as she sorted the presents.

“Hey who is this one for?” You ask as you grab the pen from the floor.

“That one was for Jodi. I made sure to put in on hold months ago so she couldn’t buy it for herself.” Diana says as she puts out her cigarette.

“Diana.” You chide.

“What? It makes for a great gift.” She says with a shrug.

You stare at each for a moment before you both break into laughter.

“What are you hoping to get for Christmas?” you ask Diana.

“Nothing.” She replies simply.

You look at her confused, and before you can respond, she is moving closer and sticking a bow to your forehead.

“Why would I need anything when everything I could ever want is right in front of me?” Smiling as she pulls you into a kiss.
