Had the idea that silver screens TV dinner equivalent is a popcorn candy and drink combo like they serve at concession stands at the movies so I wrote this little thing where he gives you one after hypnotizing you

Apology Combo

Your head hurts. You cant remember what happened just a few moments ago no matter how hard you try. But you know it had to be his fault. You remember trying to ask him something, frustratedly so. But must’ve hypnotized you to stop asking. Whatever it was, your headache was unbearable.

You were sat in the lobby on one of the leather sofas, rubbing your temples. Suddenly, the bulky screen man approaches you, holding a tray with a small paper bag of popcorn, a drink and a box of your favorite candy. He sits down next to you, dwarfing your form as his weight presses into the cushion beside you. He hands you the tray of snacks, setting it down on your lap.

“Here.”

His raspy southern voice says. You just shoot him a confused look. He rolls his eyes in annoyance.

“It’s for your headache. Trust me, it’ll make ya feel better.”

What. How the hell was concession stand junk food gonna make your headache go away? Nevertheless, it wouldn’t hurt to try, you felt a little peckish anyway.

You pick up a handful of popcorn and shove it in your mouth. Then suddenly, faint green twinkles appear beside you, fading away with a glimmering sound effect indicating your health had been restored a little. Your brows raise in surprise. Just like the revive mint. You take a sip of the soda, the same thing happens.

You sit there and nearly finish it while Silver watches you like a news report. He almost looks a little guilty. Like whatever reason he hypnotized you for, he regretted reacting the way he did.

“Sorry.”

But you don’t hear him over your eating.

“Did you say something?”

You ask him to repeat, to which he turns his head away rapidly.

“Who me? Nope. Not a word. All quiet on the western front.”

i was gonna clean up this sketch before posting it but then i remembered i hate cleaning sketches and making line art. so, like any sane artist, I just fully rendered/shaded him instead.
