Tell us more as your experience as a dnd player, pls, we want to hear some stories of campaigns.
Since I have technically only played one campaign (that was very short bc of timing) and am in another one there isn’t a lot but I have some fun stories!!
My first campaign I briefly played a halfling bard. One time the party was fighting a trio of hell hounds and for the life of me I could not get her to hit with her crossbow. I think every time I went to hit it just missed completely. I ended up using talk with animals to have a chat with it and it stopped attacking me.
A fun experience from the campaign I’m playing in right now (DM’d by the amazing @dungeons-and-dragonborns ) was trying to buy some horses off what was essentially a dnd version of a group of VSCO girls. My character, Tilly, was the only one that did not commit a crime and exchanged a horse (his name is now Oswald and I love him) for a “Hydro Flask” (legit just a flask). The shifter monk got confused by the deal she was making with one of the VSCOs and just took the horse, the Dragonborn + Tabaxi-Dragonborn both just straight up stole the horses which ended up in a horse chance from the guards.
At the start of the campaign, our characters all went shopping. Tilly + Rex (the shifter) went into a sweet shop and both bought these strange looking sweets that the shop keeper had been experimenting with. They both ate one. One constituation throw later and nothing happened to Rex but my DM asked me what the first thing that came to my mind was and I said “Grapes”. This caused grapes to just start appearing out of Tilly’s hands and she now just had like 100 grapes that are now refered to as the sour hand grapes. They’re really gross but she likes to give them out to people sometimes.
[[EDIT: I changed the race of Rex bc my friend informed me I’m an idiot and got it wrong]]
