Bardic Perspiration
I just started playing Vampire the Masquerade, table top version and my vampire can’t feed. I consistently rolled 2′s and 1′s. She tried to feed on another vampire. She mistook another vampire for a human and tried to bite her! She can hack a computer and shoot amazingly well. But she can’t actually hunt down a person to feed. Not even in a club designed to allow vampires to feed.
How did DnD go today? We survived. Did Weyland (a charlatan cleric) learn a lesson about firing off a spell being at a disadvantage when a teammate might possibly be in the way? Absolutely not.
Will he do it again? You bet your firstborn.
So the other day in DND my level 6 druid forgot she could wildshape to get down a cliff and instead tried to climb down with a rope, let go of it and fell 40 feet....
I really didn't remember I could wildshape until my DM asked why I didn't
and we got a nat one
anyway with that soon to be mess up later on this episode imma call it here so until next week thank you all for follow a long and is it thursday yet
So, confession time.
If any of you have played a Wild Magic Sorcerer in Dungeons and Dragons, then maybe you’ve experienced something like this.
I was playing in sort of a battle royale session with my party, because we were in the middle of a story arc and two of our party were missing.
I encountered a Wild Magic Surge, and managed to fire a 3rd level Fireball spell...
At myself.
Failed my Dexterity save, rolled mostly 5s and 6s on the damage roll, and knocked myself unconscious. I then proceeded to lie there while the other three took each other out.
I also failed three death saves in a row, therefore dying... to a spell of my own causing.
Sometimes I really hate magic.
Ok i know this is random and unrelated but i gotta share this
In DnD today: a sea hag is holding an unconscious character hostage. Said character rolls a nat 1 on her death save and dies
Me: Well, the good news is that the hag can't threaten us with killing her anymore!
Me: ok I tentatively place my foot on the first step.
DM: nothing happens, you’re good.
Me: ok. Second step?
DM: still good.
My ranger: Alright bitches, I’m going up!
DM: So, on the third step...
