I honestly think it's criminal Disney doesn't give more live to or even really seem to acknowledge the Little Mermaid sequel because it was definitely one of my favourite movies as a kid and the soundtrack is freaking amazing. (The lullaby Ariel sings to Melody ar rhe start of "Down to the Sea" is gorgeous and "Tip and Dash" is just such a fun song)

A little girl at work today, who is usually really upset when her mum drops her off, came into daycare today wearing a Captain Marvel dress, it was sparkly and had a tutu and was very girly, but she was so freaking excited when I asked her about it, telling me all about it and how she was the strongest and she did not cry once when her mum and sister left, not even when we were standing at the fence to say final goodbye. So what I’m saying is I love kids, and Female Superheroes are so so so so Important
