Me, after the corona quarantine cancels all my planned campaign for the near future:

Me, upon realising it’s giving me extra time to design dungeons, side quests, custom creatures and develop towns and their npc’s:

If you had to guess, how many trump effigies are going to appear in dnd for us all to beat up? Because both of my dms have already offered that cartharsis in my two campaigns

Me to NPC: by the way, whats your name, I forgot to ask yesterday?

DM/NPC: That’s ok I don’t have one

Well... Sorkos has a pig now! XD

I said to my DM and the party I was capping his pets/none humanoid companions at 3, which would be a mount, his main combat pet and possibly a small pet (which turned out to be a pseudodragon which has plans to become familiar in 2 more levels).

He reached that cap. He has his horse Nightwatch, his wolf Ry'ul and the pseudodragon Taegan.

...

DM set up a festival of sorts for some down time and general RP before we move on and Sorkos is off on what's basically his first date with his love interest. He's got Ry'ul and Taegan with him but they're just following along to get some fresh air.

Meanwhile the damn paladin is off somewhere else and enters a catch the greased up pig contest! And won!!!! He didn't realise the prize for winning IS the pig, so he was like "... I can't kill it, I'll give it to Sorkos" and we're now awaiting Sorkos to come home during another session and find this random pig in his room XD

I OOC was like "He didn't adopt it!!! He was GIVEN it! let it be known Sorkos didn't break his word here!" XD

Sorkos was just standing in a doorway in last night's session talking to the people that room, and meanwhile one of the housemates and a friendly knight NPC were having a friendly fight behind him.

The paladin who'd been out the house just happened to come home with company at the EXACT moment Sorkos suddenly yelped out loud and they came in to find him with an arrow in his ass and knight looking all guilty about firing off a stray arrow which had hit him, and paladin just turns to his friend with a look of "why does stuff like this always happen when I bring company?"

After session we were joking about it like "I was an adventurer like you once, then I took an arrow in the ass"

Also that moment when my favourite freaking animal shows up to attack the group (a lynx), but Sorkos already has a pet wolf that joins in combat and a horse for a mount so I'm ooc like "I want it!!! I WANT IT!!! BUT I DON'T WANNA HOARD ANIMALS!!!" and wind up rolling an intimidation on it instead so I don't have to kill it ;w;

It just ran away instead and got to live another day.

DM knows my weakness for lynx XD

It's just become canon at this point that Sorkos has REALLY fucking strong stomach acid, because every time I use his reserve in campaign which is of course an acid attack I never just say I'm using acid, I always say "This guy's getting barfed on" and the DM knows exactly what's happening!

It was kind of amusing one time- in our home base where we were having some down time Sorkos and the paladin tried a new beer which Sorkos crafted. The paladin succeeded a constitution check and enjoyed the beer, but Sorkos failed and threw up on the floor, and a result of that was sizzling a nasty mark in the floorboards where he'd barfed.

Sorkos was just looking at the floor he'd damaged like ".... We can put a rug over that right?"

I am absolutely loving the chaos the pet wolf has brought to the party!!! XD

Sorkos is due another feat next level, at which point he's gunna have the animal companion feat so he can bring Ry'ul out onto the field with em (Ry'ul being the wolf).

Right now though Ry'ul is completely untrained and it's like having a chaotic puppy in the base except that this puppy is an adult wolf!

We dragged a body home with us the previous session because we were gunna find someone who could speak to the dead since Sork isn't at that level yet to be able to do it himself (especially since he's multi classing), but after we got it back something popped up that meant we had to leave again.

The corpse was left unattended for 2 seconds while the paladin who stayed behind was talking to an NPC and when he looked in the room again Ry'ul is standing over the corpse looking up at the paladin like he's just been served a buffet. So the paladin put a blanket over the corpse to keep the wolf off it.

Then Sorkos comes home and Ry'ul has stolen the monk's fish which she caught, so he gotta roll animal handling to see if he can try swap the fish for some other meat before the monk finds out.

You can't take your eyes off this wolf for 2 seconds XD I freaking love it's chaotic energy! What has Sorkos gotten himself into?!!

He's got a lot of training to do on Ry'ul!
