Well... Sorkos has a pig now! XD

I said to my DM and the party I was capping his pets/none humanoid companions at 3, which would be a mount, his main combat pet and possibly a small pet (which turned out to be a pseudodragon which has plans to become familiar in 2 more levels).

He reached that cap. He has his horse Nightwatch, his wolf Ry'ul and the pseudodragon Taegan.

...

DM set up a festival of sorts for some down time and general RP before we move on and Sorkos is off on what's basically his first date with his love interest. He's got Ry'ul and Taegan with him but they're just following along to get some fresh air.

Meanwhile the damn paladin is off somewhere else and enters a catch the greased up pig contest! And won!!!! He didn't realise the prize for winning IS the pig, so he was like "... I can't kill it, I'll give it to Sorkos" and we're now awaiting Sorkos to come home during another session and find this random pig in his room XD

I OOC was like "He didn't adopt it!!! He was GIVEN it! let it be known Sorkos didn't break his word here!" XD

"I uh..." Sorkos is unsure how to respond to such a compliment. He doesn't usually receive such flattery, in fact it's usually quite the opposite. "Um... Thank you? Most people tell me they make me look scary. Not that I have any control over what my eyes look like"

Sorkos's blood is black. If you find a trail of what looks like oil there's a real possibility he might be in trouble.

"You're doing my hooves too?!" Sorkos glances from his talons down to his hooves.

"Noooo nonono it's alright! Uh, I wouldn't want to trouble you. I mean, they're so dusty and blegh!" What Sorkos wasn't saying was that he was afraid of his hooves being touched in this situation. They would usually take some filing and clipping and hammering with the shoes being removed and replaced. A big job and one that required the same work as a horse plus extra care since his hooves unlike a horse were cloven.

"tell you what; lets SKIP the hooves and I'll just get you dinner or something to thank you for doing my talons. Sound good? Yes? Yeah that'll be good right?"

Taegan is on the table, casually bapping a glass with his little claws towards the edge so he can watch it fall off. He makes direct eye contact raising his little pseudodragon claw to give it one last bap off the side.

does your muse accept responsibility for their actions when they have done something wrong?

He's usually pretty good at accepting responsibility. If someone tells him he's done them wrong he'll apologise and try to be better.

There are however situations where he won't accept wrong doing, usually pertaining to how his religion works. Like if someone scolds him for raising the dead and then leaving the body out in the open then it's a "sorry, but..." rather than a direct apology (he doesn't like burying bodies since they don't decompose as well if they're buried below 3ft and just create methane rather than feed the plants and insects, so burying them by his point of view is removing them out of the cycle.

He's usually pretty good at taking responsibility though :)

how many meals and snacks does your muse eat in a day?

More than he realises!

In terms of actual food he'll only eat once or twice a day and it's usually something simple like some cooked meat or pancakes.

However where the unregistered snacks come in comes down to his blood magic, and how he'll drink the blood of others during encounters to heal himself and rejuvenate himself, so blood would count as a snack and on a particularly bad day he could gorge himself, and on a good day he doesn't drink any. It depends on his need for it.

Wrath: 2: how does your muse handle anger? do they have anger issues? how do they manage or vent their anger? A: It can vary... Sorkos is a bit of a scary one to piss off because he's good at masking his anger and this makes him unpredictable. If an ally has made him angry then he'll usually hide it to the best of his ability, usually only becoming a bit irritable at most but generally will just go quiet and either vent about it in silence or talk about once he's had time to cool off. But if someone who doesn't know him very well pisses him off? He might smile politely, walk away, and think of a fitting potion he can ruin their day with that'll make him feel better. Gotta prove it was him who put laxatives in their beer ;) Its very rare for Sorkos to be visibly angry to the point he shows his teeth and raises his voice.

5: what, if anything, provokes your muse to violence? A: Usually protection. Protecting his allies, protecting his pets, protecting innocents. He doesn't have to be angry to fight, he can just be doing what he feels is the right thing to do or responding to violence with violence. If someone attacks first be it towards him or an innocent then they've already given him the flag to fight back. 7: does your muse destroy things for fun, or to let off steam? A: He's not the sort to do it for fun, but if he's really angry enough he might go off on his own and do so to let off steam. Not in front of anyone though. Pride: 4: is your muse comfortable with apologizing to others? A: He is. Sorkos will apologize when he knows he's done wrong. In fact he'll proceed to try and make it up to them even after he's apologized and try to make it right. 8: does your muse look down on others they perceive as being "not as good" at things as they are? A: Nope. Sorkos himself has had more than enough people look down on him where he came from, he knows what it's like and will treat all people as his equal. He believes the only time you should look down on someone is if you're helping them up.

Sorkos's pseudodragon friend Taegan will act as if he's unable to communicate and just make out like he's "some animal" until he decides whether or not someone is worth communicating with, at which point this person will then hear him speaking to them telepathically. Whether he's decided to communicate because he likes someone or for a different reason is another matter.

The new cats have been to the vet today. They're now microchipped, been given flea treatment and had a check over :)

Ivory needs to put on 1kg of weight, Ebony isn't too bad and vet said she could put a bit on but not too much.

And regarding the hair loss we're going to observe that for now and see if it starts growing back once the fleas are gone.

They should be ok now though and should start to improve as time goes by :)

I held off for a long time adding the homebrew class "immortal lifeblood" to Sorkos's bio cause it wasn't canon to DnD for one thing but also because I wasn't sure if I could given it was the DM's class.

I think it's ok for me to do so though, so I'll be fixing Sorkos's bio at some point when I find an opportunity :)

It's pretty much like: vampire- except with blood magic and the sun doesn't hurt him.

Ry'ul the wolf was adopted after fighting a bandit who kept him on a chain.

Nightwatch the horse got his name because the party in the campaign he comes from forgot to take night watch the day Sorkos got him, so Sorkos was like "if I call it Nightwatch we won't forget to take nightwatch duty again". (The markings are just chalk, they come off)

Taegan the pseudodragon is the most recent of his companions. He's not a pet though, but a friend and a familiar who helps Sorkos out. He can't speak verbally but he can speak telepathically. Taegan behaves a lot like if you merged the minds of a cat and a prince together and stuck them in a tiny dragon body. Whether the cat or Prince part is more apparent at any given moment can depend.
