I have never seen landscape such as the denster riverside. nor have I smelled anything similar to dwarf prunes trampled down into the humid soil, apple trees bowing under the weight of its own abundance, mint, sage and lemon balm dusted with what ancient tires roused, rolling upon gravel roads as if it was freshly asphalted. honey, wild mushrooms, blooming magnolias. whatever the forest gives.
