sometimes i'll think about that one dungeon meshi scene with shuro and the absolutely awful takes some people had about it that boiled down to "i don't care about whatever cultural context shuro had that might have influenced his behavior i hate him bc he said something mean to my soft white boy projection character"
like yes i know this was a complex scene that was taken largely out of context but have you considered that i love having no reading comprehension and not actually thinking about anything. art is meaningful and impactful and life changing until i have an opinion you don't like then it's not that deep
