Dornier Do 17P-1 (4U+CH) of (F)123. Note five Messerschmitt Bf 109Es in the background. Also note Aufklärungsgruppe (Reconnaissance Group) 123's mascot, English Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain and umbrella, under the pilot's station. This would probably date this image no later than May 1940, when Winston Churchill replaced Chamberlain as PM. I'm unsure if the five Bf 109s were attached to Aufklärungsgruppe 123 or are just sharing the airfield with the Do 17P. For more, see my Facebook group - Eagles Of The Reich
