[Whilst walking through the agency, a man appeared from around a corner, waving down at them with a wide smile. He seemed to be a hero, dressed as one, though they hadn't seen him around here before]

Vanishing Act? Right? If you're not in a rush to do anything, I would really appreciate getting a chance to speak with you. You're in no trouble, but it is rather important.

[There was something..familiar about his face, pretty sure they'd never met before, but something about him, similair had been seen somewhere before. Something similair in some way, a way that just couldn't be placed]

[They glanced up from their phone, shoving it into their jacket pocket. Their eyes scanned him, trying to place where they recognised him from, but ultimately came up short. Probably just had one of those faces. They nodded.]

Uh, yeah, sure, I'm not busy, what's up?

[A series of messages had come through from a private number]

**: Hello, I am the agent from Saviour Times coming to speak with you today

**: We're meant to be meeting at the coffee place, around 12:30, though I will be there earlier so feel free to do the same. Those are the details you'd been told?

[Vanishing act sees maddie lounging outside their agency]

Being a media mouthpiece again?

[She is in her uniform. A sleeveless compression top [but this time she has sewn in a bi and demigirl flag into the back between her wings] strong cargo pants with sewn in knee pads and steel toe boots made to help her grip into things. She also has her shades/visor on and her 2 belts]

[Vanishing Act was about to go on patrol when they saw her, so they were in full uniform as well. They snorted, strolling up to her with an easy, crooked grin on their face. They leant against a wall next to her, probably too at ease for someone in this situation.]

Sounds like someone's just jealous I'm more popular than them.

[Vanashing act sees a kid one of the amplifiers sitting out at 7/11. She looks like shit. Like her caretakers won't let her in for basic necessities and care)

[They glance around for a second to check if anyone was around, before walking over to her.]

Hey, uh- you doing okay, kid?

[A few messages popped up from a number that wasn't very pleasing to see. A couple seemed to pop up then be quickly deleted, the person on the other side of the phone apparently unsure of their words]

**: I'm suprised you don't have this number blocked, given how 'disgusted' you seem to be with my work

**: Though I suppose I should be glad, gives me the opportunity to do this. I wish to speak with you. And I'm assuming you can guess what it's about

VA: I wouldn't say disgusted, just really fucking pissed off.

VA: ... I might be down to talk. Why tho? Not my fault you got fired.

[It was easy to miss at first, hurrying between hiding spaces before it could be noticed. But it soon became obvious that there was somebody following them. Trying to tuck himself out of sight, a small child, about 6 or 7, was trailing them, staring at them with these huge, awestruck eyes. His hiding kept him largely out of sight, but he was still pretty easy to spot, leading to a few strange glances from passers-by]

[The hero kept on walking, trying not to laugh and failing. A small chuckle escapes them as they glance at the kid over their shoulder. They seemed to think for a second, before having an idea. They wait until they were out of sight, passing through some shadows and walking through a small group of people, and when they should've reappeared, they were gone. They were there and then they weren't.]

[A moment passed. Without warning, the hero appeared walking next to the kid. Their head was tilted as they smiled down at him, playful.]

Hey! What are you up to, kid?
