A lot of people are complaining about how "trans women are making the abortion issue about them". There seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding going on.
First: Trans women are not the only ones upset at labeling reproductive issues as women's issues, they share this with trans men.
Which brings me to point #2: Trans MEN (as well as dfab gq individuals) are directly affected by reproductive legislation as they generally have uteri and can become pregnant. They are the ones who are erased when reproductive rights are talked about as women's issues and deserve as much of a voice as non-trans women (for those of you "offended by the term cis").
