I don't usually post about irl stuff w/pics, but I wanted to post my cat Doc + his new baby sister, Lini 🥰
We found Lini as a stray not even two months after getting Doc (at the same age we got him!) My partner had been talking about getting a second cat, which I thought was insane bc we'd just gotten Doc, but he was insistent that he just really needed a friend while we were away at work. I don't like admitting I'm wrong but I think he was right lol.
Anyway, they didn't get along for the first few days (after she was quarantined for a bit, of course). As you can see tho, they're getting along just fine now. I love them so so much. I really missed having a cat and now I've got two, and amazingly, the stray is the one who turned out to be the healthier one. (Poor Doc and his URIs.) Life's funny like that.

i've got so many fucking cuts all over my limbs from this beastly little boy because he doesn't know how to play without claws yet, and I keep having to avoid accidentally scratching at them and tearing one open. I forgot earlier and nearly bled myself open from one when I got itchy. additionally, he can't enough of the sweet sweet taste of paper and glass; he will not stop teething (???) on the edges of my laptop and books when i'm reading or doing computer stuff in bed. he's enormously lucky he's cute.

I had the best daddy’s day this year! I feel so loved and appreciated by my girl and my community.
One of the highlights was going to a knife store in Pike Place Market to pick out my Daddy’s Day present.
some cat pics of our new kitten nobody asked for but everybody needs 🐈⬛ we watched the vampire lestat together the other day. his fave is louis. i’m gonna warm him up to daniel tho.
okay so adopting and caring for a kitten takes up a LOT of a person’s time, who knew lmao
anyway. you can blame this stinker here for why I haven’t been on my red rising game since last week 😛 sorry y’all
